On October 19 (Wednesday) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., we inform all environmental organizations and environmentalists that the organization Une, Gruaja (I, the woman) from Pogradec, Albania, within the framework of its project “Local & cross-border actors work together in the environmental protection of the Prespa – Ohrid region” (2022-2025) supported by PONT will hold a presentation of its project and show ways of cooperation.
This next project was developed in close consultation with the main stakeholders in the Albanian part of the Lake Ohrid region, represented by the Local Action Groups, based in Pogradec. , Albania, as well as local non-governmental organizations in Albania and Macedonia. The grant builds on PONT/CEFP’s previous support for establishing functional and effective stakeholder networks in Albania, particularly in the Pogradec protected area and the Ohrid Lake cross-border region. They will unite representatives of civil society organizations, local institutions and informal groups to promote and facilitate and coordinate their participation in the management of protected areas in the Ohrid Lake region.
